I can barely put into words how amazing our experience with Andy was! We stayed in touch before the big day and talked about what we wanted as our vibe and what locations would work well. Andy was so easy going, but also very enthusiastic!! The day went so smooth and Andy made it fun and easy! Our pictures were phenomenal like wow..I bought so many canvases that I need more walls in our house! 150/10 would recommend!!!

Andy exceeded all expectations. He was helpful, punctual and a genuine joy to be around. He acted as our photographer, tour guide, wedding/party planner and a bit more Came equipped with great ideas, hiking/photography skills, a great eye and a head lamp we strapped the mine for our hike back down the mountain. Our wedding won’t be the last time we’re in Asheville, NC and now we have a new FRIEND to visit when in town. Honestly, cannot recommend this gentleman enough. 5 stars, wait can I give 6 stars? Let’s just call it 7!

10/10 Highly recommend. Andy was an absolute joy to work with. He was super flexible and open to all of our ideas, no questions asked. He even let us reschedule last minute for better weather! When my wife and I decided to do an elopement, we weren’t sure if it would feel like a real wedding. Thanks to Andy’s professionalism and relaxed attitude, it ended up being the best wedding we could’ve asked for. Andy did excellent work scouting the landscape prior to the wedding date. He knew exactly where to find the most spectacular spots to take photos, and we were able to spend ample time at each location. If you’re looking for a peaceful, stress-free wedding in a beautiful and serene setting, Andy is the photographer for you.

Andy is truly a magnificent artist! We never imagined we'd see such incredible photos of ourselves for our Engagement Shoot. His knowledge of local photogenic spots and natural lighting, combined with his agility to climb anywhere for the right angle, makes him a fantastic choice for a mountain shoot! Fun fact: we had so much fun just hanging out with him during our shoot at the Chimneys that we'd consider any good photos to just be a bonus to that amazing time we had......but of course, we were completely blown away when he finished our gallery! Of note: We are two women and felt completely comfortable, celebrated, understood and respected the entire time we were with Andy. In a vulnerable situation like this, it was very important to us.

Andy was INCREDIBLE! He always responded promptly and he was super professional, both in the months leading up to our wedding and after our wedding. On the day of our wedding he was on time and his vibe created such a calm and fun environment for us! Not to mention, our pictures are DIVINE!!! Jaw dropping. And we got back so many. He did such an outstanding job. His attention to detail and efforts to get the shot no matter what it took were everything! He also got us sneak peaks back the next morning and continued to send us some in the meantime and communicate to us until the rest came. We truly had so much fun with Andy and that meant a lot, considering weddings are usually stressful, but not for us! He’s the best of the best!

Ro & I were so lucky to find Andy for our small wedding in North Carolina!! I came across MountainWed.com & was instantly blown away by his use of light, his unique eye & ability to capture sweet, special moments. We were thrilled when we found out he was available!! He was so great with communicating & working with us to plan everything for our special day. We really loved that Andy dedicates an entire day to one wedding, whether he’s with you for a few hours, or all day! We never felt rushed, or anything. Of course, when we finally met Andy on the day of our wedding… we weren’t surprised that he was the coolest guy!! Super personable, and fun to be with. He hung out with us at the house before and after the ceremony, and fit in just like family! Not only a fantastic photographer, but a fantastic person. Our wedding took place on a trail in Pisgah Forest… and we really wanted those mountain sunset shots. We were a little hesitant about leaving our family behind that evening… but it was the BEST decision! Not only did Ro & I get a little time to ourselves that day, but the shots Andy captured on Black Balsam Knob were absolutely magical. I’ve gotten so many compliments from family & friends. I’ve had people honestly say they are “the best wedding pics they’ve ever seen” and they “look like a fairytale”. Andy was the absolute best, and our weddings photos are literally works of art that we’ll treasure the rest of our lives!!

Andy was the best photographer we could have asked for! He had a ton of ideas and suggestions but was also very flexible and listened to all my vague scattered ideas. Our wedding day ended up being a little cloudy and rainy in the mountain but somehow Andy made the pictures look amazing! I selected to work with Andy for my elopement based on his previous work and Im so glad I did. We had hope and planned for a sunset elopement however the day of it rained all day. It was cold and the wind was howling! We couldnt reschedule so we hiked up a mountain and Andy got right to work and never stopped clicking. Despite the cold & rainy conditions he managed to get some very beautiful shots and was incredibly upbeat the entire time. We got hundreds of pictures back in less than 2 weeks. We still plan on getting those sunset pictures & will definitely be contacting him again for those!

From our first conversation with Andy, we knew he was the perfect choice to capture our elopement. We had never been to Asheville before and because of our conversations with him, we left our location up to Andy. His knowledge of the area and taking into account our requests, we had the most amazing "backdrop" for our outdoor elopement.
