Let’s Get Started!
Fill out this form and hit send! I’ll email (or text) you to start the conversation. We’ll set up a short, no-pressure discovery call to answer your questions and talk about your plans—no matter how far along you are.
No weird sales funnel. No pressure pitch.
Once your inquiry comes through, I’ll take a look at what you’re dreaming up and reply with next steps. If your date is open and it feels like a good fit, we’ll talk through location ideas, timing, coverage, and what kind of day actually makes sense for you.
Whether you’re planning an Asheville elopement, a small wedding in the Blue Ridge Mountains, or something a little more outside-the-lines, the first step is pretty simple: tell me what you know, what you don’t know yet, and what you want the day to feel like. If you’re still getting your bearings, the Asheville elopement guide is a good place to poke around.
You do not need to have the whole thing figured out before reaching out. A date, a rough location, a guest count, or a half-formed idea is enough to start. If you’re curious about coverage first, you can also look through elopement photography pricing.
You want the photos to matter, but you don’t want the whole day to feel like a photo shoot.
MountainWed is built for couples planning Asheville elopements, small weddings, vow renewals, and mountain wedding days that feel a little more personal than traditional. You can see more of that approach in the portfolio.
You’re keeping it smaller.
Elopements, intimate weddings, vow renewals, and small celebrations are kind of the whole thing here. Less production. More room to actually be present.
You want the mountains involved.
Maybe that means a trail, a waterfall, a cabin, a brewery stop, or a quiet overlook near Asheville. If you’re still comparing options, start with the best elopement locations in Asheville and WNC.
You don’t want stiff photos.
I’ll give direction when it helps, but I’m not here to turn your wedding into a performance. I also mix in film photography when it fits the story and slows things down in a good way.
Local enough to know the weird little details that make the day work.
MountainWed is based in Asheville, North Carolina, and most of my work happens around Western NC, the Blue Ridge Mountains, Pisgah National Forest, DuPont, Linville Gorge, and nearby small towns that make a good home base for a wedding weekend.
A lot of couples reach out from out of state with a loose idea and a pile of questions. That is completely normal. I can help you think through what is realistic for the season, the light, the drive time, the hike, the guest count, and the kind of experience you actually want. The Asheville elopement guide is a solid next stop if you’re still sorting through the basics.
Common places couples ask about
Asheville elopements, Blue Ridge Parkway wedding days, Pisgah National Forest ceremonies, DuPont waterfall elopements, Linville Gorge adventure sessions, cabin weddings, small mountain weddings, and multi-day wedding weekends around Western North Carolina.
A few things couples usually wonder before reaching out.
You don’t need to show up with a fully built timeline, a locked-in location, or every detail figured out. Most couples reach out with a date, a general idea, and a few questions. That’s more than enough to start.
Do you photograph elopements outside Asheville?
Yes. I’m based in Asheville, but I photograph elopements, small weddings, and vow renewals all over Western North Carolina and the Blue Ridge Mountains. That includes places like Pisgah National Forest, DuPont, Linville Gorge, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and nearby mountain towns that make sense for a wedding weekend.
How far in advance should we reach out?
As soon as you have a date or even a rough season in mind. Some couples book a year out, some reach out with a shorter timeline, and both can work depending on availability. Weekdays usually give us more room to work with, especially for popular mountain locations around Asheville. You can get a general sense of coverage options on the pricing page.
Can you help us figure out locations and timing?
Absolutely. That’s a big part of what I do. I’ll help think through location options, drive time, hiking time, light, privacy, permits when needed, and how the whole day actually flows. The goal is not to cram in as much as possible. It’s to build something that feels good while it’s happening. You can also browse the location guide if you want a head start.
Do we need to have everything planned before contacting you?
Nope. A loose idea is fine. “We want mountains, maybe a cabin, maybe a waterfall, and we do not want a huge traditional wedding” is honestly a pretty solid starting point. Reach out with what you know, and we can sort through the rest together. If you want to know a little more about the person behind the camera, here’s the about page.
