The Blue Ridge Mountains are a fantastic place to get engaged. With any number of beautiful locations near the city, planning the perfect spot to pop the question is easy with the right guide. As an Asheville engagement photographer who loves exploring this region, I can’t wait to share what I know and work with you to plan the perfect engagement or proposal experience.
We’ll plan just the right spot for a sunset picnic for you and your partner. Then you can romp around in the mountains celebrating and sharing in the excitement of your news! Everything is tailored to your preferred length of hike, views, distance from town, etc.
I’m here to help guide you along as we plan an experience that you will both love. It doesn’t have to be complicated though. Let’s discuss your needs and tailor it to your preferences.
We’ll Find a Location Just for You
There are some amazing spots to propose or have some engagement photos taken near Asheville. To help decide where to go, we’ll cover some of the basics in our introductory call and figure out what seems like the perfect length hike or walk. I’ll come up with a few location ideas for you to choose from and that will fit with your vision, the season, weather, etc.
Relaxed and Fun Sessions
Enduring engagement photos are made when you’re having fun, so my first goal is to make things as relaxed and easy as possible.
With all the planning done in advance, all you have to do is show up and I’ll do the rest.

Within an hour, we can get to some absolutely gorgeous outdoor gems for your adventure session. When you book your adventurous engagement with MountainWed, travel fees for locations up to 1 hour from Asheville. You’d be amazed at where we can go within a short drive from downtown.
